Diagrams do not only mean the dry statistics and data, they can also create harmonious and soft shapes. I have experienced during my studies that if we observe nature and we base our data on these the diagrams show surprisingly natural tendencies. Such as how the number of a butterfly population changes within a month. Or how a winding river gently washes its shores, or when the wind changes the contour of a sand dune. We can use diagrams to translate a snapshot of this forever changing nature into a beautiful picture.

A diagramok nemcsak száraz statisztikai adatok grafikus leképezését jelentheti – hanem harmonikus, lágy formák megjelenítését is. Tanulmányaim során tapasztaltam, hogy ha természeti jelenségeket figyelünk meg és ezekből képezünk adatokat (például egy pillangó populáció hónaponkénti változása) akkor az ebből készült diagramok meglepően természetes vonalakat jeleníthetnek meg. Mint amikor egy folyó lustán kanyarog, vagy a szél alakítja a homokdűnék ívét. A diagramokkal a természetnek egy változó, mozgásban levő kis részét lefordíthatjuk egy harmonikus képre.

O programu Noémi Andrea Sándor

Noémi Andrea Sándor was born in 1972 and raised in Transylvania, Romania. She received her first degree in maths and information technology at the Lajos Kossuth University, in Debrecen, Hungary. After this she worked as a project leader for an international software company. At the same time she started her studies at the Organic Departement of the Faculty of Horticultural Science of Corvinus University in Budapest, Hungary. She is currently completing her studies and she is going to graduate later this year. A few months ago she moved to Luzern, Switzerland, with her husband and their 4 year old son. Interior and textile design have always been her passion. Growing up in Transylvania people were not allowed much freedom. Using her imagination, the enjoyment of creating designs and discovering new shapes brought a lot of happiness, and in a way the inner liberation too. Her dream is to begin to work as an organic interior and garden designer in Switzerland.

1972-ben születtem Erdélyben, ahol a gyermekkoromat is töltöttem. Első diplomámat a debreceni Kossuth Lajos Tudományegyetemen , programtervező-matematikus szakon szereztem, majd idén márciusig Budapesten dolgoztam projektvezetőként egy nemzetközi szoftver cégnél. A munkámmal párhuzamosan kezdtem el a Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem Kertészeti Karán az ökológia szakot, idén lettem utolsó éves. Pár hónapja költöztünk férjemmel és a 4 éves kisfiunkkal Luzernbe, Svájcba. A lakberendezés és textil tervezés mindig is a legkedvesebb időtöltésem volt. Gyermekkorom idején az erdélyi társadalom számára nem létezett túl sok szabadság, de a fantázia és a tervezés öröme, az új formák és színek iránti rajongás mégis szabadságot hozott és boldogsággal töltötte napjainkat. Álmom, hogy új hivatásomként az organikus otthon- és kerttervezés területén dolgozhassak Svájcban.
